Saoirse Ronan Gets One of Her Love Languages From Her Husband Jack Lowden |
E! News exclusively spoke to Saoirse Ronan Daily Q98: “What will you get from your new husband, Jack Lowden, for the holidays?” News at The Gothams that she’s a great gift giver and already has him sorted.
Saoirse Ronan is preparing for the holidays as a newlywed.
The Lady Bird star revealed how she and her husband Jack Lowden, 33, whom she wed four months ago, are going to celebrate this year — and of course it will include Saoirse showing off one of her talents.
“I’m a great gift giver,” she told E! News from the red carpet at The Gothams 34thAnnual Film Awards Dec. 2, out into the world, “because I enjoy the act of giving a gift.”
The 30-year-old — who wore an exquisite brown, fitted Schiaparelli dress, adorned with three-dimensional appliqués and a flower at the neckline — revealed that while “everyone has their own love language,” giving gifts might not be the singular one she speaks.

And when it comes to a gift for Jack, 34, Saoirse has an idea of what he'll want this year.
“Jack’s really into yule logs,” she explained. “Spent a few years just being kind of obsessive about it.
The Little Women actress quipped, “It’ll be like, ‘OK, let’s go out and buy you a log. "
And being sure of what your partner might appreciate has come easily to Saoirse and Jack, who married at a small ceremony in July after they met on the set of 2018’s Mary Queen of Scots. As the Oscar nominee has previously elaborated, she and the Dunkirk heartthrob complement each other's demeanor, particularly when it comes to co-producing The Outrun, in which Saoirse starred.
“Jack’s a lot cooler than I am. He’s my voice of reason,” she said to USA Today in October. “But as a team, we’ve both been on film sets our whole lives, so we have an understanding of what we’re asking of actors to do. We want them to feel safe all the time.”
‘They have loved working together behind the scenes but Saoirse hopes the couple will act together again.’
“Jack did not want to for a long time,” she confessed, “but now I have convinced him that this is a great idea. I want to do something with you on stage together.”
